kidnap Yui and drain the power of spirits near her, that way he both get rid of the nuisance and get more spirits to feed upon (as of this chapter there's literally no more spirits near the house)

I like being spoon-fed by mangaka but it took me rereading to remember what it was all about and this issue is addressed in one of the earlier chapters. He is not a creep, so far at least, he straight up tells her to marry somebody else once she finds a special someone. This marriage is for her own protection.

But yeah as far as I can see, she will fall in love with him and will prolly bang at some point.

It can not be understated just hot much the difference in treatment would have changed her appearance.
That and he saw her sue the family's skill, but due to his incompetent testing he is convinced she has 0 ability to use it.
