Yeah, I thought so, too. And I understand the logic behind it.
What I don't understand is why translators just decide to change names away from what the author has intended. And while there's so far no one correct way to translate something like アウィ (It could be Awy, Awi, or even Avi, though the latter is less likely), they basically added two whole syllables in Japanese (アウィ -> アーウィン) before romanizing it just because they (presumably) felt that the name wasn't elvish enough to their sensibilities. While it's not the same magnitude, I feel this is not too dissimilar from going "This character has an unusual name I haven't heard before or don't like, so I'm gonna call him Steve instead."
But this is just my opinion. Maybe I'm just projecting all the frustration from watching subbed anime and reading names in the subtitles that the characters have absolutely not said.

They've been hyping up the MC every chapter so far. Hopefully, it goes somewhere plot-wise, because I like the art and it would be a waste if they avoid using the small elf girl's family, village and new trauma. This is very simlar to "The Apothecary Is Gonna Make This Ragged Elf Happy" by Giba-chan. The orphanage lady is kind of intriguing, if she also has a past with Haten - which the last page kind of insinuates (if that's not just a translation thing).

In the original panel, Arwyn just keep saying "やだ" like I don't wanna, so it's just a typesetting problem, the bubble isn't big enough for a "I don't wanna" and it won't be readable as well.

I mean I'll just say children do just be sayin 'no' when they mean 'don't wanna'. I know it's probably more vague than the Japanese words but it made sense to me.
