Rather than a Regista, Satsuki's more like a box-to-box midfielder without football IQ.
Haru should be the Regista. I think the 'no' in the title doesn't really refer to Haru's Regista, but Haru's position as a Regista.
Someone do the math to see if that's humanly possible lol
If the pass is too slow you can actually do that. And since this is women football...
changed. thanks for the correction, we missed on the context
p1 is it really channel in the Japanese? Because it should be 'switch the flank' or at least 'side'. Channel is a little bit different in football. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Channel_(association_football) and I don't think someone like Satsuki who is definitely a newbie should understand what is a channel. Unless the author who definitely knows ball missed this one and intended for her to know what is channel.

I am not entirely sure, because my football PR was the one who made that judgement, but in JP, it's mentioned how she needs to do a "big side change" to get it to her

Football PR, here.
In JP, it's written as "switch the side". But looking at Momo's position, pretty sure that she's on the different side of the flank. So, "switch channel" is still understandable.

Also, Regista usually doesn't cover too much area. So, somehow she does box-to-box MF instead of Regista.

???
Haru is the black haired injured girl. She's the Regista. Satsuki is the box to box.

I mean, it's not wrong, as I said before. I pointed it out just because Satsuki is new to football and knowing expert terms like channel is just unexpected lol.

Ah, my bad about Haru's Regista. I misread your reply.
Yes, I feel Haru will become a Regista in the future, but in this match she's more like an advanced playmaker/trequartista.
About Satsuki, I think that "switch channel" is pretty common in football nowadays, so I thought that Satsuki would know one-or-two common phrase..

After checking the last omake chapter, Satsuki's not so much new to football. She was just a bench warmer in her middle school days, so I think she's not completely clueless.

In a professional male game, passes are about 30mph. But this a youth girls game, so maybe 10-20mph at most?

Fastest a human has ever ran a 100m, average speed was 27mph. So she'd be going 1/3rd-2/3rds as fast as that? Doesn't seem too infeasible, definitely exceptional but that's kinda the point.

You can add the distance between Satsuki and the ball as another factor.

I think Baraen's #18 is just not aware of her surroundings because of regularly getting irked after the goal, so Satsuki can intercept the pass that she thought pacey enough. A one-two is rarely that fast actually, evenmore in a more compact, narrow shape.

If only there's a more detailed explanation after this chapter. Or else, it's just another manga thing.
