Uh no?Maybe it's just me, but i feel like the pacing is kinda ass 🥲
Her extreme dislike of soccer and her injury just felt so incredibly insignificant due to the manga essentially just having been a singular match right away, in which she has been forced for no reason whatsoever like at this point it feels like that component could've been left out entirely and it wouldn't have made a difference
And one that more or less already exists. The manga has drawn more than a few parallels to the early parts of Captain Tsubasa so far, but they are unquestionably different. That would be a totally different story.
Because it has that tag on comic-walker too.Getting better again now that the sports battle is over. Still, no hand-holding, no blushing... no idea why this has the Girls' Love tag.
She wanted to distance herself from it, hence the school swaps and her specifically going to a school without soccer club, also her injury was described as pretty much career ending yet she instantly agrees to some randos forcing her to play, despite her herself trying her best to stay clear for a long time after having "loved" it so much.Uh no?
Her extreme "dislike" is definitely a lie. As a former soccer prodigy, she looked like she still wanted to cling into the soccer world. But the injury had changed her. She could no longer be the perfectionist she once was, and that made her "hate" soccer.
So, this story is about how you can still enjoy soccer even if you're not perfect. If she went all out, she could only play for 17 mins. So, she now had to play a support role as a regista. As Osanai told her, she could actually do everything but run. The injury didn't take everything, and there's no need to hate soccer outright. Basically it's about seeing the good in a bad situation.
Without this component, the story would have just been her being a pro striker with a positive, cheerful attitude. That would be a totally different story.
she is still just a high schooler, she is allowed to have conflicting feelings to sort out with character development and being forced into situations that make her face the root of her problems is how you trigger that developmentShe wanted to distance herself from it, hence the school swaps and her specifically going to a school without soccer club, also her injury was described as pretty much career ending yet she instantly agrees to some randos forcing her to play, despite her herself trying her best to stay clear for a long time after having "loved" it so much.
Well, guess biggest factor in the story is the weird upload interval, combined with it really having been a singular match.
it is career ending for a youth player in a sense that "she could've become a world beater but will probably have to settle for a division 2/3 player."her injury was described as pretty much career ending
Surly as a Yuri enjoyer, you want to see Yuri in more works, not less? I think it’s pretty exciting that works like this, where romance is only a small background element, are being given the chance to be have Yuri in them, instead of just straight romance.Getting better again now that the sports battle is over. To preface, I fully agree with you. But.Surly as a Yuri enjoyer, you want to see Yuri in more works, not less? I think it’s pretty exciting that works like this, where romance is only a small background element, are being given the chance to be have Yuri in them, instead of just straight romance.
