I really love this author's Risouteki Boyfriend.
Her works are cute --a bit fluff. And this is quite interesting imo. As someone as ignorant as me, I can relate how the heroine feels. Lol
She is the quite type. I'm in for the-easily-blushing, pure male lead! It will be satisfying to see him being caught red-handed anytime. But maybe what's interesting is its positivity.
Impression for chapter 1 :
A good starter. It's refreshing to see the two main characters give each other an open mind. I rarely find the two interacting with each other a lot, and are honest on it.

Umi-sensei, from my point of view, is similar to Sakisaka Io, who plays perspective so that character recognition becomes more interesting. So I will try to follow this!

Well, I got further into the story than I thought I would after reading the description, but... I only made it to page 40 of chapter 2 before I just couldn't stomach the male lead's bossy, narcissist attitude and the easily manipulated, submissive female lead who meekly does what she's told by a guy she has just met instead of sticking up for herself and how she, herself, feels. Makes me wanna barf.

So far it’s pretty good. I really like the two’s friendship dynamic bc it feels really realistic compared to those cheesy ones in most other manga. Honestly hoping that they break the cliche and actually stay as friends throughout the entire series. I can’t really see the main girl in a relationship so them getting together wouldn’t make much sense imo

I like this fairly well. By the way, the male lead clearly isn't a real narcissist. Too self-aware. He just likes girls to think he's good-looking, likes to get a bit of attention for the looks. But he's not the type to always need to be centre stage; everything doesn't always have to be about him, he isn't always arranging to sideline other people's issues in favour of his own, and so on, like real narcissists. Narcissists are those people who, when you tell them about some major problem you're having, will say, "That's tough. It reminds me of this problem I'm having--" and then totally ignore your issue and rope you into being supporting cast for theirs. And if you've known them a long time and try to get them to see what they're doing, it's absolutely impossible. My wife's sister is like that. This dude isn't, he's OK.

There may be some cliche's, but I actually really like this manga. A lot. I would most definitely put this up there with my favourite romance manga.

I just started this now and thought I wouldn't like it coz the summary makes it sound like your generic shoujo, but I'm pleasantly surprised. It's really wholesome and the leads are interesting, they're not playing some character archetype.

Thanks to Shojo papers for scanlating this!
