The best dinner I ever had was with my wife. We had tomato/beef stock hot pot w/ a platter of Japanese a5 wagyu slices at a restaurant in Las Vegas. Other than that I agree with you, I’d rather have 1$ taco than a fancy shmancy dinner

The tastiest sushi I've had was with my buddies at an upscale restaurant. Perhaps the best food is the friends we made along the way.
