Thanks!

Gotta love the 'Japanese fried chicken in christmas time' lol altho while i like cake too i prolly wouldn't wanna have a slice after having some KFC unless JP's branch is closer to like oven baked or so versus fried/too greasy or so but still would prolly have a drink in between

This is why you celebrate in a diff room or feed/exhaust a pet enough to play/nap before eating your own meal XD (that said i know there are vids of cats being 'high' after a post surgery thing with anesthesia or catnip but i'd hope cats don't get access to alcohol easily, i wonder if there'd be broken bottles outside like a factory/bottling plant for alcohol and cats interested in that unless the smell isn't as appealing versus like some prey like squirrels)

Lol not the cliche 'romcom' like misunderstanding/shocked pose on page 20 (although would shipping them tech be incest /shot)

I wonder if they have one of those “Tenth visit is free!”-style punch cards at the vet’s office 🤔
LOL i don't think any kinda healthcare thing would ever do it, even in a country with better service than the US lol, but i can imagine if a vet liked you enough and it was a personal local small clinic versus large hospital, they might give you a discount if they like you (versus being being cynical and like "You guys are coming here too often, are you sure your daughter is responsible enough for a pet?")

But we don't rly know how much time has passed in between , tho i'm sure some ppl in america never take their pets to their vet either b/c of being irresponsible or like "we're just gonna get a cheap pet or take in a stray bc our kid begged about it but we won't contribute to taking care of it if it gets sick" (which sounds fucked up but idk if tech a crime versus it not being considered unacceptable since pets are 'optional' versus letting your kid die, tho there are antivaxxers but that's a whole nother can of worms)

Lol! I think it's just that it's more affordable to take them to the vet, so they do it more often.
I'm in America, and vet care is veeeeeery expensive here. We do our best to take them to the vet for annual check ups and vaccines, but we definitely can't afford to go as often as they do on this manga.
I don't think anyone here would just let their pet die or think of them as "optional"... but, like... I even avoid taking  myself to the doctors if I can. 🤷
I would take the pets to the vet before I'd take myself to the ER tbh. But we can't afford either one. 🤷

lol yeah other than surgery or some kinda prescription medication i imagine it wouldn't be too much, esp considering how much ppl spend on gacha and idol tickets but that's a whole nother convo

There might be some semi retired vets that could offer a discount/depending on where you live but hopefully a younger pet would ideally be healthier after getting the basic vaccinations before they're allowed to be taken home (if not relying on online donations and such, i know there are a few twitters that raise a decent amount of money)
