A Yuki-Onno that can't stand the cold and the "plastic umbrella" Karakasa Kozou have me thinking that a story involving Yokai that start "deviating from the traditional norm" would be interesting to explore in greater detail.
Particularly in this more cozy, SoL-type setting, just as the focus. I guess this series does it to a degree, though.

So is Hatoko a half-yokai or something like that? Or did some of the gods share their power with her so she doesn't age?
I'm intrigued
