I can't help but feel I've seen another character with very similar design to Midori before this. And possibly it was an anime too. Anyone help? It's bugging me a lot.
If your looking for a good wholesome love story, this is a good one. Its a quick and easy ready, and Im happy it was consistent on its positive tone throughout. Id recommend it. The author set out to make a simple good love story and they succeed. Thank you to the translators.
8/10 wholesome and cute love story, it´s quick for sure so don't expect much, it finish too rush and let me wanted to see more about they daily life in school or the extra characters, but is worth it, just ignore that rush final and still all cute and fluffy.
Her first impression of him is still a little odd to me from
how his humor offended her, along with how she realizes her feelings of love fairly easily
, which is rare in romance from inexperienced heroines ... but, all around, this was a solid great story in the simple and naturally authentic adaption of a relationship developing to love. 8/10.
Even though it's
very casual of an average life, with barely any drama of conflict
in the story, as simple as it is from the classic mildly distinct type of characters from the cast, and basic events starting from;
hanging out in high school, part-time working and going on dates to then officially becoming a couple with mutual love
... it's very good in its own right because of the pleasing development of their relationship, shared with the enjoyable comedy.
It's fairly short with the potential of having a sequel as the mangaka states in the end, and if it does I'd be curious to see if it could expand on more variety or just stay consistent to its original nature of constant progress and joyful reading alone.
I think most of the cast is kinda unique from their tiny differences even though they're all a classic type of character.
Yuzu is
quite outgoing and very expressive. Seemingly the foolish one, she's very studious and smart in her academics.
Kanata is
very mature for his age, as a sincere and joyful guy with a good sense of humor.
Kaori is
the overly loving friend with a great bond with Yuzu, but is mildly perverted I think, with her own sense of humor towards Midori.
Midori is
a classic straight man character for the comedy, with composed retorts that mock or point out silly situations with logic or truth.
... The rest of the cast from Yuzu's family don't have as much screentime but they each have their
own uncommon sense of humors, while Kei is very successful and mature, while Mai is a classic adorable little sister.
Kanata's
dream of astronomy isn't really interesting, and Yuzu isn't aware of a dream yet
, but nonetheless, the way in which they started as
classmates with casual interactions mostly initiated from Kanata, the way in how Yuzu started inviting him on dates when she realizes her feelings for him, to how he casually expresses his love for her, to finally how she instinctively does also later to start dating and love as a couple
... beautiful.
I enjoyed reading Yuzu's
fun and funny mood swings
, the beautiful cute art, the comedy of it all from the girls,
Yuzu and Kaori's constant hugging, their actions love on their dates, the troubles they dealth with together while supporting each other.
'Good read.
I wouldn't mind a sequel, if not something better.
