I just double checked my facts regarding the enrolment in the Nazi party: on that I was wrong. My mistake. I was not intentionally trying to spread false information, so please spare me of any such accusations.
That said, you still seem to have missed what I was trying to say -- perhaps it was my phrasing. I was not trying to justify Heidegger himself, merely the validity of his philosophical works (the Jewish philosopher Hannah Arendt was among the defenders of them). Additionally, I firmly believe that "enthusiastic" gives rather the wrong impression and is here being applied rather too liberally; I believe the adjective you were seeking is "unrepentant." However, this is merely a semantical argument, one I think it isn't worth discussing on a manga thread.
