The old English is incredibly flavorful. The hints of German relation that come out of it are great.

Actually if Gruffwyd is leading the Welsh band, then I agree with kazaddum that they're probably on the hillside observing with him.

Someone once said that English is three languages pretending to be one. While modern English is certainly distinct, the saying is very true for older forms of English.
