A punch or two? Wow, much punishment , so ruthless....

This is the most apt punishment for someone who murdered almost 50 people(many children among them) one of them knowingly by starvation and constant abuse.
And sent another kid to be eaten alive by goblins, for the sin of having no powers.
Plus one whose plan was to summon children as disposable soldiers and planned to have them all killed in the end.
( and before you say that this is not the case, recall that the princess, told them that after they served her , she will return them home, something we know she could never do, so she could either have them all killed or risk getting executed herself for breaking the law by performing the summoning).Right?

A couple of punches as punishment for someone that did all that...what's next? Punish hitler with a total of 10! Punches and a strong worded letter?...
Karma isn't going to leave her alone. Ugly Bastards get their hands on her, twice, WN chapters 129, 188. And then there's the matter of her extremely dissatisfying situation which will be established before long. Camilla's suffering will be a running gag.

this guy is part of the princess group of interest. part of her social circle and one of her closest related people.
putting him in charge serves her agenda.
we have clearly different viewpoint about the meaning and consequences of certain actions portrayed in the story.
lets just say its not convincing for me.
So, in your opinion, should he have thousands of innocent civilians killed by monsters just so he can have the princess get punished a little sooner?
Even from your standpoint, at least wait till we how he plans to bring the princess to justice.

Holy confused boner, batman!

Is pseudo bi a thing? Some of these fictional traps are drawn in such a way to cause hesitation.
The IRL ones are repulsive. It's just not the same.

anyone reminded of BOKU NO PICO????
No. I could not watch that show from beginning to end. Plus, BNP is hentai focused on BL(boys love), this isn't.

no, i just see her unfit as a character to cooperate with. the second hand hostage nonsense is something that just depends on the extreme viewpoint that she is the only human capable of protecting and rescuing a nation, which is all things considered rather silly.
wiping out her dynasty and removing the less evil members from the power structure might just improve the prospects of survival as well as the governmental functions.
besides, the whole threat against the civilian populace has been hyped over the chapters, but was never truly specified.
there is quite a lack of information on that part.

The main thing, well, you know how monster armies have attacked Volzard multiple times in earlier chapters? Rock ogres, goblins, etc... There is no wall or significant force protecting Reisenburg from those armies, and the wind changed directions, drawing them towards Reisenburg. Klaus wasn't lying when he warned their envoys about that.

Another threat is civil war. The manga cut out the chapter that showed how things are moving in that direction for Reisenburg.

Then there's desertification causing famine and dislocation.

And then there's other stuff that hasn't been found out about yet lol. If you ask me if Reisenburg would survive without the summoning taking place, I'd tell you that's 100% no.

This is a great turning point of the story. Kento finally sheds the skin of an uncertain boy and becomes a man who is negotiating with entire countries, plotting schemes and making traps swoon. But it’s really only the beginning, later on he does so much more and becomes much more confident.

I don't know, don't forget that this is a manga adaptation so she'll most likely be saved before anything happens to her.

Plus, she has exhibited that being taken by force is something she (and apparently most of her family) is ready to accept at the drop of a hat with no qualms.

Plus, even if you ignore that, "getting their comeuppance" by a random twist of fate, is not really punishment, it's something that just happened...
It's like saying a criminal has been punished for murdering dozens of people, because he tripped and fell and broke an arm.
It's just not really an administered punishment, just the criminal being unlucky.

Plus if what you say comes to pass, I am 100% certain that she'll be saved by the MC and/or his familiars...essentially saving her instead of punishing her.

Why does the prince choose to look female? Is it a ploy to look weaker so the other princes won’t target him? Did his mom want a daughter instead? They are young enough that it can’t be their sexual preference. Even given their present behaviour, hair that long takes several years to grow and there’s no way they had that in mind when they were six.
Could be that he was discreetly abandoned. Sickly, left in bed, bathed probably but poor upkeep?

On the risk of repeating myself, what story are you reading? Of course the threat was specified: the monster forest is unusually overactive, and they're expecting in the near future, that a huge wave of monsters will leave the forest and attack the human settlement, like it already happened to the town our MC is staying at.
