i've been wondering about that too lol. we havent had any indication that he's been isekai'd or reincarnated, best i could come up with is they have something similar to gacha what with the weird stone phone that gives the skill blessing. but even that wouldnt explain why he talks about it more like its a game's gacha than a regular capsule gacha machine. maybe it'll get explained later but just seems a bit out of character.
