Slaves or just pure racism where a group of people think others as inferiors, whatever you want to call them.
In a world with no laws, women, weak and inferiors are always the first victims, it's the case in the world of Failure Frame, but some region in our world has no rules either.
Some people have an ideal of equality between races/people, so they can't accept there are people like that. Funnily enough, there are people with such ideals in the world of Failure Frame.

Spent this decimal chapter to introduce characters that MC is going to annihilate in the next decimal chapter with exception of the demi-human baggage handler. It feels like you don't even need to bother giving characters like this names. Just tell us their affiliation to the goddess and show them being vile, then kill them so we get out new fly king squadron member.

With so many irredeemable people in the world it may be better to let the demon lord wipe the slate clean

The payoff of this confrontation is worth spending half a chapter in their presentation.

Failure Frame mostly avoids the trope of internal strife in antagonist groups. That's particularly true for Sword of Courage, which is a group of childhood friends who really do like each other. ... Though, they're also total human-supremacists who regard non-humans as trash/filth. If you ran into this group in a bar (and weren't a non-human), you would probably think that they're a great group of people.

didn't stop slave owner to whip and torture their own slaves. i meant, there are lots of records in history that happens.

you need to be considered slave owner also a racist and love to humiliate and torture slave too. its not author are crazy, its you that never learned history bruh.

Understanding how a world works is not the same as accepting how it works. We had a glimpse earlier in the series about how the demi-humans are treated with Eve who was sold in slavery, but also with Nyantan who Vicius saw as nothing but an inferior. If the head of the world acts like this with demi-humans, you can't expect anything else from those who works for her. Until this point we just had short moments about how demi-humans are treated in this world, but the next arc will go much further in that aspect.

Also, understanding how a world works and how the big heads of this world works mean you can anticipate what your enemy will do. Even if you met them for a few minutes.

Somebody else asks an interesting question : why wouldn't it be better to just let the Demon King destroy the world with how trash it is. The real question is : is this world worth saving ? Are every big heads in this world as bad as Vicius or are there good people living it ? Neah's Princess looks like a good person, Seras is a good person as well.

Slavery was never about racism. White people were slaves of white people. African slaves were already slaves in africa when we brought them here. We didnt catch them we bought them right at the coast. I mean other wise the moment a ship was spotted off coast evryone would flee inland
