I really doubt it. She's written to be a simple character that matches her simple thought process.

She hasn't expressed a hatred of violence, just that she naively thinks everyone can be reasoned with. If she showed some emotion other than smugness I would think that there might be some other reason she ignored all the warning signs.

The most of a backstory she could have is a quick few frames showing, by chance or by birth, her never needing to consider that someone might be malicious beyond reason.
