There seems to be a misunderstanding here, these guys aren't comically evil. There's no comedy here.

They are comically evil because they talk about genocide and killing none stop after every other breath. There is literally no other topic. They keep talking about killing/hurting something or someone in most gruesome ways and all of them are perfectly in sync.

It's comical because that's their entire character. I'm sure (or hope) author is also aware of it. And they are bad characters as most comically evil characters tend to be because they are obviously just chapter filler as author didn't even bother to put any effort in. They are so evil, its became funny in context.

There's enough manga where the MC has to go through fifteen seasons of teenage wangst over every villain they defeat because the villain reveals a lame backstory of how they were actually secretly an okay duud all along.

It's refreshing to read something where the MC can act with impunity because the bad guys are actually bad guys and deserve everything and anything the MC can dish out.

Like that manga that spent literal years on the ultimate fight against the mc's friend that betrayed him (mind you, said friend was basically going "hahaha after I defeat you mc I'm going to rape and kill the elderly, the sick and babies in no specific order") only to cop out of killing him to instead throw a deus ex god for a dumbass restart making mc lose his power.
