He was hating school but is not very hating anymore now since he met a beauty.
Keep hating, man. It will make your revenge sweeter.

@shanoc5902, I don't know, but from my guestimations so far, she is on the run with a warrant out for her head. She knows he is strong and killed those 4 super strong mercenaries that were tailing her. Most likely, she sees staying by his side as her best shot at survival.

Plus, most women know how to use sex appeal to get what they want. That goes for good and bad women. Not a negative thing, guys do it too when they can.

I'm really glad that for a story with really great characters (so far), there's no harem tag to ruin my expectations. Also, even though I haven't seen anything to say otherwise, I feel like the MC isn't the bonehead oblivious type which I'd be glad about.

@Snickrot See, I don't really have a problem if that was it, but with the way that it's portrayed in the manga at least it feels like this is brought on entirely due to him giving her the item (and maybe her knowing that he's not a horrible person from before), but the way that the conversation was about the cup, he didn't find it odd, and how she jumped straight to being his slave and offering to die to protect him instead of trying to seduce him or something it just feels odd to me.

Honestly, several of the interactions with her have seemed a bit weird to me, like her seeming to be overly suspicious of him in their first encounter (though that's easy enough to believe that we lacked the full context to), but I'll see how things go. If anyone who's read the source material can chime in if the manga is cutting out some content that'd be appreciated because this chapter at least felt like we were missing a good 75% of the conversation to me.

I KNEW IT...!!!!

Seras breastplate has a real problem/flaw...

Seeing at the front, it seems ok
Seeing at the side view, its NOT OK!!!

How did that breastplate maintain its snapping function to Seras even though it is not tightly knot by a string around her body?

My theory was she was using 3M adhesive tape OR, magnetic breastplate....

"I see. This is how it feels to have a partner." Meanwhile, Pigimaru is just like đŸ˜¥

Thanks for the update!

I mean that's not really being a partner tho. That's just having a guard. If there was a challenge he couldn't handle alone but was able to overcome with help, that would be the feeling of having a partner. *cough* *cough* pigimaru *cough* *cough*

@shanoc5902 Slave..? I must have missed something reading the chapter. Didn't she offer to be an armed escort for him? Wasn't she a knight captain or something before fleeing? I guess she has the kind of personality that she wants to fight for someone powerful. She's also at her wits' end alone, by the looks of it. She would have already been killed, most likely, without his intervention. She's lacking sleep. She seems to be unable to continue on alone. It might be a lack of funds, a lack of plans, but nevertheless she can't relax enough to catch a break anymore.

She needs some red bull.
Little confused why she offered herself up to be a servant right away. It was like jumping the gun a bit.

@Kaarme She specifically offers to devote her body and soul to him, asks for a command, and has no reaction to him saying this won't be a master/slave relationship. It's pretty cut and dry what she offered initially. My issue isn't even what she's offering per say, but it just feels off how quickly she's jumping to it when there should have been more of a conversation, though I am willing to believe that either the manga cut out some of the conversation (as manga adaptations do a lot since the sense of time during conversation in light novels and manga is different) or maybe the translation was a bit weird with what the guy said (for example thinking about it, if she was offering to be a knight in his service, which would also fit with what she said and did, then it wouldn't really feel like such a huge jump, so perhaps when he said "slave" that was a bit of a mistranslation)

@shanoc5902 Since we know she was previously a knight, I interpreted it as her offering her sword to him (which she also did), underlining it by saying she's willing to die for him. Sure, body and soul does sound kind of exaggerated, but it also emphasizes that she's willing to follow him and obey his commands, through thick and thin, unlike a mere hired sword.
