The typesetting, cleaning, and redrawing looks great imo.
Translation is good too, I understand the use of MTL and as long as you don't overly rely on it then it's a good tool to learn. Maybe someday you'll be fluent enough to greatly reduce its use or maybe not use it at all.
Would you be doing the chapters that are already here or would you be continuing where it left off?
I don't mind either way.

edit: ok, I see some (probably) mistakes for the sfx but I know it's a pain to do so either clean, rd, and tl those are not at all

I wanted to read the later chapters myself and found that there was no English translation (on MangaDex), so I figured might as well. I could have just started from where it was left off but the earlier chapters used full MTL for translations and I knew if I ended up doing this I might need to contradict/fix that so... I had already had gone back myself to get a better understanding of the terms anyway so it wasn't too much extra work (he says after scanlating a 40 page chapter of manga).
If anything it's Japanese study practice for me... I have secured actual HD raws up till chapter 36 so the goal is to try and reach that, but I'm definitely not swimming in free time so... we'll see.

Cools beans bud. Always thought it better for it to be more of a hobby/learning project then for the translation team to churn out mtl slop for a possible payout. Looking forward to your efforts.

BRO I laughed so hard when I read that line because it made me think that all these other translations are so bad that you don't even consider them as proper english. That caught me off guard, I like you already, can't wait to see your future works.
