isekai always have these early "everyone nearly died chapters" and it's rare for them to actually have some flow to them. This isn't the greatest story but it feels like the author has some sense in this one.

Always good when a series follows through and actually kills someone or else you end up in this super annoying situations of heartfelt moments as a character embraces death but then lives every freaking chapter.
people complain about fairy tail doing this but I think rave master is worse

Even if they all survive this fight, I wouldn't be upset. Sure, the monster is huge and strong, but is not a named monster but just a randomly encountered big boi monster. What the author needs to do is show the mental repercussions even if they all survive. What drives me nuts is when it is a named "Ender of Worlds" and everyone just somehow miraculously kills it and no one is traumatized, but this is not one of those situations.
