Isn’t this the plot of a movie? A 1994 movie called “The Crow”. Guy is killed, resurrected by a bird and gets abilities (immortality) from the bird, goes off to kill his killers.

@Tanarwater maybe you haven't realized but most Chinese stories aren't very original. Most follow the exact same plot while the ones that don't are usually plagiarized from something else and remade as their own.

The plot is good enough, but the execution is just too slow and short. It's like reading a dbz/Naruto/bleach/one-piece/etc. filler chapter except without all the unnecessary fluff. It's all the exciting parts, but the story takes too long to go anywhere and the rate that chapters are released is just WAY too slow for any enjoyable read
