And people wondered why the hags fell in love with Yuusei. Anyone would really, he worked very hard for women to lust over him.
More like take your turn, the girl failures are first"Unless you are willing to dress up as my 30 year old alcoholic cousin, I'm not interested"

This is a great place to take a breather. Take a step back, breathe deeply and take a well deserved rest. And so the Sumire-chan TL marathon continues
FYI: I may release chap 60 a little later because I also need to make progress on the other series I'm translating.
Note: I went with "The Woman Who Starts Over" for this one but the original title is "Restart女" (lit. Restart Woman, but felt a bit lacking).
I think so. It came at a terrible time, in a terrible context. She blackmailed him into doing this student festival gig, when he should have been working on another photobook or proper event. They got in trouble, she dissed Yuusei's hero. Then she had the nerve to flirt? Tactless! Were I in Yuusei's shoes, it would make me feel bitter. I wouldn't want to spend more time with the prez. You think so?
Prez herself is a pretty big influencer, so she's aware of her own attractiveness. Just like Yuusei says to Sumire, in the showbiz world, only those who believe they are the number one can survive. And she also has her position as StuCo Prez to consider, so even though she is bitch, I can see where her entitlement comes from.
Sure, Yuusei may be stung by her words that Sumire is not needed, but overall, I think Yuusei is pretty content with the result; he finally sees that Sumire's passion for the idol gig never dies. Sumire being jealous of Unico is, in a way, a good thing.
It wasn't the kids but their showa and early heisei parentsMan the world has gone soft. The joke was masterclass Sumire-chan. Don't listen to them reiwa-era kids.
Japanese institutions are very old school about their values and views (this is a good thing)Why are they acting like making a lame joke in front of highschoolers aged 16, 17 and 18 is such a big deal???
Are they reacting this way because Sumire used profanity? like is "boner" as rude in Japanese culture as saying "cunt" or something ?
Is because this Is a girlfailure(womanfailure?) manga, cutesy popular girls like prez have no place here. She should go to other mangas where the popular girl gets the protagonist becomes more social thanks to her or something. We want to see 30yrs ruining their lives here.Student Council prez half-heartedly asking Yuusei for a date, doesn't know it's like rubbing salt on a wound. Dissing Sumire is adding lemon juice. Somehow in a story with Sumire and Souko in it, Prez is worst girl at this moment.
This feels like a teaching moment for most of the cast. Sumire might learn to tone it down. Yuusei might learn a thing or two about how to manage and promote.
It is a lame joke but it still a dirty joke and they're high schoolers. If a parent complains, specially because apparently it was taped, the school can get in problem, Yusei can get in problem, Sumire will get in problem, the agency behind Unico and Sumire will get in problem, etc.Japanese institutions are very old school about their values and views (this is a good thing)
Also, is just like Sumire to not know who Unico is, when she basically spelled it out to her multiple times. Is not that Sumire didn't know or didn't notice, she didn't put enough attention, in the same way she rarely puts attention to the careers of SushiKarma and Ayumi. Like, she has an idea of what they work as, but she does not know the specifics at all and doesn't seem to seriously consider what kind of work Ayumi does, the fact she might be connected to the Yakuza, or how dangerous it is to take Yusei to her office lol.You think so?
