The majority of attempts at comedy in manga I've come across make me crack a smile at most, but the way Femme Fatale and Yuusei no-sold that conversation at the beginning on the school roof and then Sumire tricked Souko into getting in the closet like that legit got laughs out of me. Great chapter. Poor Souko.

Depression is a hell of a thing.

A chapter ago I lost sympathy for Souko as it was made clear that all of her issues were basically self-inflicted.

Then the author drops this bombshell and I am reminded that depressed individuals are locked in a self-destructive death spiral from which it is extremely difficult to break free without help.

This feels too real, I'm going to need a drink or ten.
