C'mon author! Not the Yamcha's death pose! Us Yamcha fans just can't catch a break. What's next? Ashita no Joe reference?

I wonder when and how the author plans to start getting Yuusei and Sumire romantically closer.
It's clear that's gonna be the ending but so far they haven't really moved forward with it.

Author's previous series was also an older woman/HS boy. Romance was always secondary, it only got there in the last 3-4 chapters. I'm guessing this is going to be similar.

Yuusei would have an army of attractive hags at his beck and call if he'd only he was both cognizant of his own natural charisma and had a mind to not hold back.

Thank you for the translation.

I totally get why they all fell for Yuusei , my man supports them in a such an endearing way even tho they are not in the brightest part of their lives
Even the tiniest spark of kindness and faith blinds like the sun when you've been stuck in endless quagmire of "what the fuck am i doing with my life" more so for these girls stuck in that state for more than a decade with one girl almost ending her life in the previous chapter.

I didnt expect this silly romcom manga to be so relatable honestly

i finally realized why this chapter hits harder than the rest. Its hard to put into words but when someone hones their craft for so long those experiences are carved into their being and doesn't go away, something akin to muscle memory, actually it is muscle memory for some at that point.

This chapter highlights just that, even when theyre defeated and left the idol world the experiences carved into their beings are still their and subtly we are being shown the dream they once pursued as idols, kinda like how yuusei still see the idol in sumire and the rest of the girls
