I mean, Sumire is immature and is shown to bully Souko.
But (and is a huge but), pretty much Souko says is more because Sumire is unaware of what she is doing and thinks is the way they "play" with each other, which Souko finds annoying as it's completely opposite to her character, but doesn't necessarily hate.
They live together, work together, and Souko seems to rely on her a lot.
Like it has been pointed out, she's an addict. It has lead her to heavily monetary issues, but she has also been shown to take responsibility for it, even when she hates it.
There's a huge difference between being immature and annoying, and straight up blackmail and exploitation.
When FemmeFatale was complaining about "the toxic industry that only uses you", that is who she was talking about.

I agree, because idols specially are still pressured to not date and made guilty of suffering abuse.
BUT it is also true that this has been changing and some of these idols have used things like social networks to denounce this, and since women on idol fandoms have been amassing more spaces, the community has changing too.
Maybe is a bit different, but look at how some k-pop girl bands have decided to leave their agencies and have been supported by their fans.

The other part is that for example, is pretty much implied Ayumi is involved with the Yakuza. Most of the sex industry over there is.
So, who knows that kind of contacts or power Ayumi has; cause having her own company at that age and being a woman, she must have some connections, because no other company has tried to contact Souko or Sumire, and I have the feeling is because of her.
