@KyuMazu Chapter literally says 'her heart's greatest desire." Sounds like love to me, unless there's some kind of translation error?

Course, it also says she loves Asuta, so...make of that what you will, lol. English is really bad at differentiating between different love types. We only have the one word and we have to figure it out based on context.

@KyuMazu Well, both Isuta's and Asuta's dream is to 'serve the red heavenly king, the one they revere.' However, apparently only Isuta thinks of her as her 'heart's greatest desire.'

I just find it kind of amusing since it's not even hinted at in the main story anywhere, and if the sentiment isn't love, it's a rather hilarious way of describing it in English. Like, if you're gonna do a thing, then do it, don't just have it written down in a character profile we don't see till after the story is over. And if not, then it's probably some kind of sentiment that doesn't translate well from Japanese to English.

This just made me realize I still don't understand Rafaed. I don't remember them ever saying he was an awakened hero like Helck before this, so does that mean he under the control of the will of the world as well? That would explain why he was working with them, I guess.

And I thought Isuta was the older sister, Asuta just seems more like the energetic younger sister to me

Yeah where is Rafaed? Dude got pushed aside once and dies? In a story where nobody is ever truly gone?
What was his motivation anyway? He clearly was not controlled by the king, did he actually believe the new world would be better?

I think the author just didn't know what to do with him, Rafaed should have changed sides given the way he's supposed to be.
