thanks again for picking it up and translating it, was a legitimate 9/10 mostly but the ending did feel a bit rushed, still a great read overall

its based on a novel so idk if it was actually rushed or what, the artist started the jack the ripper ragnarok spinoff not long after this ended so maybe he wanted to wrap it up quickly for that reason

there is a prequel novel if i recall called Purgatory Lions but seems unlikely we will ever get an adaptation of that (also apparently a third and final book in this series called Asuras in Heaven)

Thanks for the chapters and the work. I really enjoyed this. Art was great and the story had enough twists and turns to feel unpredictable but not stupid. The ending was a bit wonky because I felt there was room to keep going but it was fine. Overall very good manga.

I was expecting a Heart of Darkness ending where he gives in. I was also expecting Anai to reveal that he was the one who shot the girl, given his own delinquent history. I like it when stories surprise me like that.

Good stuff. Also, if you want to put some polish on the final chapter, page 46 says 'vile crimials' instead of criminals.

Dang, this was a masterpiece! I'm glad they kept the pacing moving the plot forward the entire time rather than dragging things out like many manga series do. (Although, I feel like I need a cold shower after that ending. Haha.)

Thanks a ton for translating this series for us! :)

Yeah, this is the first part, the second part is a prequel about the power struggle between Shoichi and Toakes group that happened before this story. The third part as far as I can understand off of a short synopsis on Amazon is about a female detective that gets some info about something while investigating a journalists death. It probably involves Kanetaka, but we'll probably never know.
