2x is nothing, correct, but it was the angel at 40k stats getting their ass kicked, so the demon high generals might be 20x or more for all we know.

What kind of crap is the God of Demons pulling to just crank out these bozos like there's no tomorrow? 10 mil fodder just for a distraction carnifex, and high generals able to body the creator god's personal first angel?

These Normal, Extra and Hell Modes are more than they seem.

can’t wait to find out what his other new summons can do. It’s been so long since we got new abilities and considering they’re in the same rank as an angel, I’m sure they’ll be super busted

there’s definitely a reason. A law of the gods that binds them. The flying squirrel is definitely pushing that boundary and is worried he’ll get punished for it.

looking back, it seems like the angel was actually killed and basically reborn as a summon

given that logic, I’m guessing the next summons (the S rank deity) will be a god who has also died. Either the dwarf god who lost her relic or the god of judgement who couldn’t handle the demon lord situation (and was maybe hurt/killed trying to stop him)

My guess is that the current gods are way to strong to actually die to demons. Their goal is to destabilize countries and leave humanity in ruins so they're unable to fully support the gods. That's why there's so many countries in the verge of war; instigators placed there by the demon king.
