sadly he’s no Allen. That dude has been handling these chores basically since he was born. And was mass growing plants while in class

at this point i don't fully get how the leveling works, specially for allen
like, i get that he has the hardest time of everyone to level up and stuff, but like, what exactly is level 10? a skill? i'm pretty sure he was a higher level before, and i didn't remember skills having their own levels did i miss him getting a special skill that does?

i feel like i missed or misunderstood something at some point
i'm also confused with the class changes because i think it was mentioned they went back to level 1 but keep half their stats, but wouldn't that make anyone that ranked up stronger than someone that started with those stars by a lot? i assumed it would be touched on at some point but nop

i haven't been commenting because i assumed if i continued reading i would get it but i'm still confused a lot of chapters later

I can't remember which chapter... but the arc where he first starts talking to Rosen and Hero, that arc goes into more detail specifically about how the system works.

Each skill has its own level, capped by job stars.

For most skills, it increases the passive stats or active strength. But for the Summoner skill it acts as a consolidated xp tracker for Allen's summon usage, as well as the unlock requirement for his sealed skills, since he's gone way over the normal level requirement to obtain them. Edit: I think. He kinda pingpongs between needing more levels and needing more Summoner.

Allen s class has 3 (creation, synthesis, and strengthening) skills associated with it and they each level up through repeated active use (Making new summon cards, fusing them together, and upgrading them). Meanwhile his class level only goes up when all those skills reach a new level. When that happens he gets a new set of monsters and a new type of monster

his last rank up got him the angel and a rank summons. So this level up should get him s rank monsters

Honestly the idea that he levels up slower than everybody else is a little absurd to me considering how basically he leveled up faster than anyone else excluding the people on his party.

He was, untill this chapter, factually the highest level being we have ever seen.

he can also like, oneshot anything.

Like every since scene has been shown where his party were a debuff for him, because if he just bum rushed enemies with virtually infinite summons, what are they even going to do?

Most if not all numbers in this manga are bullshit (population count, stats, etc) so it's better if you just treat them as a blur and think "oh, he's stronger now"
