Probably not my cup of tea, but I do have to wonder whether the author knows about various meanings of "Morning Star". For instance, take the medieval weapon. "Hello morning star" evokes for me the image of a spiky ball hurtling towards my face accompanied by a profound sense of "oh, fuck."

I assume that's not what the author had in mind but I'll never know.
