Man, I reread this thinking I was mistaken about the terrible ending, and that perhaps I missed some chapters on the EG scans website when reading a few years back. Perhaps I didn't actually finish it like it I thought. Nope. This "ending" was as confusing and disappointing as when I first read it. It definitely felt like it was axed.

It didn't really seem like I actually finished the whole series, that last chapter felt like it was supposed to lead into another major arc but I guess the series got cancelled.
