If possible, I'd love some help finding a manga I can't remember the title of. I haven't read any of it in a long while now but for some reason it just popped into my head.
I can't remember much, but I remember it starts with a boy who writes popular stories. He has a female childhood friend that he had feelings for, and he wrote a lot of stories specifically for her. By his high school (or middle school? I don't remember) years he had become an extremely popular author under a false name He was under the impression that she realized most of those stories were for her, but once he tried confessing that the famous author was him, his childhood friend didn't beleive him and instead started hurling insults and slander at him, effectively ruining their relationship.
I remember eventually one of his stories was getting turned into an anime or something, and he met several girls during some voice acting auditions who were also huge fans of his work, or something like that. That's about as far as I can remember, unfortunately. I don't know how accurate any of that is since it's been quite some time, but if any of that sounds familiar, I'd love it if someone could provide the title so I could read it again.
