Dad hates Takamura because he isn't good enough for his daughter.

Dad hasn't fired Takamura because Senko likes Takamura and Senko will find a way to be around Takamura. So, Dad wants Takamura to be good enough for his daughter and that won't be helped by firing Takamura.

At the very least, he's going to keep his enemy close.
