this kinda reminds me of Yuji from Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life, using slimes or other creatures as a medium to channel his power (except spells for mutiple). and I hope MC gives Alec a harsh lesson so he finally learns his place, and at the same time saves Flora from him
That's just typical arrogant behaviour. Also Alec continuing to antagonize the dude who comprehensively wiped the floor with him is hilariously misguided.
grandpa knows how power corrupts (he noticed the effects of the lord of phantoms), problem he doesn't see how it affects him too. But I think Flora could help clean the faction, as it's more the nobles being fanatics rather than being incompetent in the search of knowledge. (I kinda want to give the old man the benefit of the doubt hahaha)I get the feeling Flora isn't going to be a part of the Zamel faction for much longer. The sad part is I liked Zamel when he was first introduced thinking he'd be the cool grandpa character but he's gotten so invested in "beating" Cain that he's decided to just make everyone not in his faction his "enemy" and basically proving why Yuuki made the right call not to give him the Lord of Beasts. The actions his faction members have taken when they appear just reinforce the fact that Zamel shouldn't be trusted with anything related to the Elysium Temple, or heaven forbid they find out about Yuuki's past or his mystell blood.
Yeah, feels like the Magic Guild was mostly a benevolent organization until the Lords showed up on their doorstep, which was like tossing a bunch of soldiers with muskets a nuke.grandpa knows how power corrupts (he noticed the effects of the lord of phantoms), problem he doesn't see how it affects him too.
Family is shamed > Alec pursues vengeance against Yuuki to regain honor > Failure > Repeat from step 1 until Kiels family loses its noble title or Alec is disownedThat's just typical arrogant behaviour.
Poor girlie. I'm sure things'll work out sooner than later for her.
Poor girl![]()
She's got a good & objective head on her shoulders. She might even end up attacking her grandfather with a powerful incantation of "I'll hate you!"I feel so bad for her

Yeah, I think there's other mind-affecting Elysium Temple magic happening to Zamel and/or other members of his faction. Demeter mentioning the megalomaniacal side-effects of the Lord of Phantoms and Flora's internal monologue mentioning how she noticed a personality shift in her grandfather in the very same chapter definitely feels very deliberate.Yeah, feels like the Magic Guild was mostly a benevolent organization until the Lords showed up on their doorstep, which was like tossing a bunch of soldiers with muskets a nuke.
Now Zamel and Cain's factions are convincing themselves that only their group is wise enough to properly use the Lords, and everyone else would just make a mess of things.
Y-y-y-you mean the forbidden spell...She's got a good & objective head on her shoulders. She might even end up attacking her grandfather with a powerful incantation of "I'll hate you!"
