Funny that Bard, someone who looks to know so much is still clueless about some things.

But it is something that makes sense, he comes from a place and job where kijiel were commonplace, and by the cost of the tools, secondary material, and the specialized skills and knowledge necessary to work those pelts into truly usable goods coupled with how the Tersia for quite some years had problems dealing with sabotage and the like and in a way were just "scrapping" by, you see that him not knowing the true value of those pelts is completely plausible.

And Gordon... well, Gordon is Gordon XD, his reasons are that he simply is a noble who hasn't seen the world, he may have had a good education, but those weren't things he would need or even care to really know.

I expected Bard wouldn't know low-key but am surprised Gordon didn't know. I had a feeling Bard was lacking in some knowledge... and somehow he still made it so far 😅

Hmm, I don't know, 10-20 a year still sounds really rare. Unless the pelt lasts forever, I'm still not sure how they could have a storehouse full of them when the knights used it as armor and how dumb the nobilities he's serving are for not selling them when they keep getting outnumbered in the same war against the Doendar-something over and over again. Sure, it might give them some better armors, but if in exchange you can recruit more knights equip with those stored pelts then it should be worth it.

In chapter 2, the Coendera bitch and the Tersia knights found Bard in only a little bit over a month since he left. This bit over a month consists of the information about his departure reaching the Coenderas, their representative meeting up with the knight, and then finding Bard, so the travel between the Tersia and Coendera territories itself shouldn't be that long.

I don't know how long it will take to reach Nora from the map, but I believe 2-3 months are safe bets.

That doesn't seem that long to me, especially to get the best armour that exist in the setting so far, made from ingredients so rare that even the frontline can only get dozens on their best/worst year.
