Bard Loen is always a treat! As Warukyure mentioned already, the worldbuilding and characters are outstanding.
However, I've noticed something of a shift in way of storytelling.

In the very first major plot arc we were privy about Bard's very personal view on the events unfolding around him and the chapters focused in-depth on his interactions with all kinds of players relevant to those events.
But, to take this chapter as an example, the story is almost written as a summary.
New town! Corruption! Curse! White King! Invitation to the castle! Attack! Ghost! Julchaga is back! Exterminating the White King!

I'm still invested. But I feel like the story or the way it's being told has been negatively impacted.
I mean, that's kinda to be expected, we saw his entire life story unfold, and by all rights it could have simply ended there, as the old man that he was.
But that wasn't the purpose of this manga, it was always a setup to the adventure of an old man who doesn't just want to retire and die, and would rather go seeing what's up with the world, outside the confines of his previous life.
Granted, the setup was indeed quite legendary.

Nice to see it get picked up again. Always love mangas that take a unique spin and explore different unique beast tribes and flesh them out. This one has a nice melancholy feel to it too.

Wonder if the spirit is even connected to the white king at all or just a red herring. Simplest answer would be that the queen ate the white kings mate and her spirit looms around searching for him. The other option would be that someone is using the white king as a scapegoat to slowly reduce the lords power.

I'm still wondering what of the people Bard Loen has left behind. IIRC they're on the verge of a war right? Man it's going to be sad to know some of them had a tragic end when Bard Loen comes back.
Coendera (whatever his name was) did plan to recapture Tersian house, but that one is already solved. With Joulran going to Palzam capital, and Coendera himself "granted" the overlord title of the east, he p much has no out on his path of conquest.
