That last scene was kinda weird. I get they wrote ogling but it just looked like the dude made minimal small talk and she freaked out, unless there is context we are missing.

I mean, yeah. There's no reason she'd react like that out of absolutely nowhere.

I knew it was a matter of time before some issues were raised with her dad (or extension of him.)

I vaguely recall this character appearing before and having done something awful to her, but I could be mistaken. In any case, I think we’ll get additional context next chapter.

To be honest I think getting freaked out by one of your abusive parent's friends (who collectively mostly just ignore you and drink) intentionally seeking you out and leading by asking how old you are is a pretty reasonable response.

And like contextually we can probably assume he's drunk, even if he isn't drawn with the drunk flush or anything.

Soooo, can we conveniently have a random bomb hit the house with all the adults in it and our poor girl far away from it?

I dont think he has ever done anything to her, she probably reacting like this, cause most people especially girls would, if a drunk man who is friends with your abusive father start a conversation asking for your age…
Also ”ogling” which means: stare at in a lecherous manner. Lecherous meaning: having or showing excessive or offensive sexual desire

So yeah, would say this is very normal reaction and he most likely have never done anything to her other than what we see here

Probably the visual not express something bad enough. I remember same thing bug me back then with Youyu dad. Of course with the context, what he did is terrible. But the panel didn't draw him bad enough, his reaction didnt match, he look like a worried dad concerned about his daughter. I would say if you hide all the bubble dialog, you may don't know who is wrong

To give some context for how she reacted. In the novel the father and his "friends" have been drinking and smoking for days, to the degree the house is infumed with a nasty smell. The group occupying the house are drunk and smell and look like shit and are not the sort of people you'd want to be around.
Chi Tang has pretty much holed up in her room, locking the door, and staying away as much as possible. She's kinda scared of the whole situation and just wants her father to leave again. After a string of incidents, starting when she was 12, involving her fathers "friends" she's learnt to be understandably vary and avoid them whenever she cans. So when one of the middle aged friends of her father approaches her and hints at wanting to get close to her (and her room) she reacts like that to ensure her own safety.

The way she puts a chair in front of her door to sleep makes me think she has some history guiding that even if it didn’t go anywhere.

having to put a chair against the door before sleeping is wild 😬 although idk how good that chair will help consider it's a lil short for the doorknob

Yeah either the dad or one of the friends have most likely entered before, but dont think anything would have happened, since I dont believe that the author would add stuff like rape into the story.
I would guess it was most likely the dad that came in drunk and mad from losing money and where physically punching/slapping her maybe
