Even if nothing happens romance wise (it might take some time), if the story is coherent enough and well written, it can still be a good read. Pretty nice.

I have read the light novel and I adore the drawings in this manga. The chibis are so adorable. It's a slow cooker but worth the read.

I may just drop this. Been here since ch1 and there's been 0 development at all. I'd expect there to at least be feelings developing, but at this stage it just feels like "girls friendship" not GL. At least cut back and forth, give us a couple of "now" chapters then cut to "then" chapters to show the development of their relationship. Honestly just skimming this at this point.
