The backstory was great yet the route is kinda generic tho it is still within the range of good I guess. So still gonna stick around before deciding on dropping it or nah.

This shows some good promise, let's hope the author won't rush things so we can properly enjoy this story.

@DANDAN_THE_DANDAN that's the thing though. Even with that backstory, the MC is still set up
as your regular otome protagonist in in a school setting. I would be way more enthusiastic to read a story about the princess of a fallen kingdom on a quest of revenge for her family
.

But then again, it would be a different genre. I'm still reading to see how the current story unfolds.

The good backstory is wasted on a generic story thats overused to the point where you can guess which character is going to be against the mc from the start...

This needs an isekai tag.
While the MC was not isekai'd, Nao was.

Extremely strong start but transitioned into a cliche setting, but it has a lot of potential. If it is done well that is.

Dude the first 2 chapter is gold. Well more like copper covered with a thin layer of gold, it was good even with the cliche scenario because the author and artist do their job so well.

A kingdom on it's crisis because of war is about to fall down but a saviour sent by god descended from the heaven and help the kingdom restores it's glory. As the time running the kingdom become more prosperous, happiness spreading to everyone. Harvest is bountiful, the people is no longer starving and suffering. Festival held regularly, people dancing in full of joyous and smiles.
Then one day the happiness reach it's peak when the marriage of the savior and the princess held. Everyone celebrated as a blessing day for the kingdom, but nobody know that is the last time they
can enjoy their peaceful day and soon the kingdom will face upon it's destruction.

Although the story went downhill at later chapter but it still enjoyable, atleast for me.

Disappointed me when she met that person in the school.

Would have been better if the lover didn't reincarnate with her. I know that clichés can be good if written well but the fact that her lover reincarnated with her takes the interest of mine towards the story, I don't know why thought. I think it's because it's like the situation in "They say I was born a king's daughter" all over again. Pure bland and annoying.

Can I just say, from what I read of the light novel, this manga just feels way far off from what it was meant to portray. I dunno if it was just something that someone overlooked, or a miscommunication, but damn bro.

That and I like the light novel more, but thats kinda out there.
The first two chapters of the manga however, thats gold.

Man, the manga is deviating extremely far from the novel. The light novel was more slice of life than anything, but the manga? It went cliche at mach speed. I mean the first 2 chapters are exactly what I wanted from an adaptation (the first two chapters alone is a good story to write about in itself). But then after chapter 4, and checking the raws, it goes cliche "save the world" plot very fast.

But seriously, has anyone read the raw light novel beyond volume 2? I hope it doesn't go cliche as the manga is going. Or at the very least, it if it does, it will be slow (very slow) while slice of life comes first, and doesn't turn into GoT season 8, where all world building and character development gets tossed out the window for cool shots, action, and predictable plot. I would love it if the novel was like 4 chapters slice of life and world building, and maybe 1 chapter action in every volume. That would be perfect for this series.

@Xeryo yeah, the light novel was more light hearted with slice of life, than non-stop action and cliche character drama (I've looked through the manga raws, and it indeed turns into that).

I didn’t read the novel but I like this manga, the first two chapter indeed good, the later also good. It’s like combining otome game reincarnated villainess plus shonen action. the ML look weak af and the friends too, i like the MC but she kept her OP power for herself, she should share her knowledge asap
