Oh, the jp version is "かわぴぃ", so i just rendered it as so

"Cpte" looks like a typo so reading it, I automatically corrected it in my head rather than realizing the character has one of those weird verbal tic things, so I don't think it works. Perhaps something like "ca~ute" would effectively localize it? Or just write out "kawa-pii" as I imagine most people reading manga here know what kawaii means.

Holy shit, this hurt to read. Watching the parallel between Akira and Sera was soul crushing. The joy and excitement for Akira only made Sera's dive into despair that much more painful. It was hard not to cry seeing Sera's heart literally break as she pushed through. The worst part was that no one cared; if anything, the store lost plenty of business BECAUSE it was Sera.

Sera has a hell of a lot of courage and strength than she realizes. Please let her be happy.

THIS WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR!
This is actually best and most reasonable timeline for her.
I was worried author when she nearly lost heart mid-performance and was going to go down the route of either
A. Sera actually puts out a really really good performance and everyone falls in love with her (highly unlikely)
B. Sera gives up mid performance and goes into a depression spiral.

I've been rooting for her to get recognized even a little. After seeing that she has the capability to charm the audience (thru hypnosis) and seeing her past dreams of being an idol, I was hoping she'd remember them and what she said to Kira and push through to the best of her ability, finish the performance and get one fan at least. Maybe I'm unimaginative, but author fulfilled all my hopes for her this chapter. Looking forward to where she goes from here. The comedy keeps this from getting too depressing.
