Kyapi is a monster, and no one is stopping her manipulation and isolation. Of course Sera is going to give up and think she's progressing forward. Sera isn't doing better, and she isn't striving for her dreams. She gave those up so she can be carried by someone besides Akira. She's doing the same thing as before but without freedom, care, or love. The problem is the moment she went hands off, Kyapi and Manager took advantage of Sera's weakness to nonstop pressure and force to do what they want and act like it is the right thing to do. Akira is fucked up, but at least Sera was a person and not a doll to be controlled.
