Not a lot to explain on this one. If you understood what's been going on the past few chapters then you understand what's going on in this one.

One thing of note: if you're not familiar with the terminology, a "terminal disciple" is the last disciple a master takes on, usually very late in their life. I don't know much more than that, but I assume that this last disciple is generally treated very well and is constantly by their master's side so they learn all they can before the master dies. The joke of him being called "terminal disciple" is that Xia wasn't close enough to death to actually warrant one, yet Hua was always (physically) close to him anyways.

You know he is a master thanks to the level of bull shit that comes out of his mouth.

I almost believed him on his sale pitch of the legendary indestructible sword, that is clearly broken in half.

Come on kid, are you really going to leave your sister like that? ins't china supposed to be all about filial piety?

Hope the artist can find assistant(s) to help him, can't be easy cranking out ~25 pages every week on his own, especially given his quite exquisite art style. Nice to hear of the birth of his child too.

I guess this confirms that the story is an original work by the author/artist. Really impressive to be able to write an excellent story and draw such great art just by himself tbh.

Interesting, did the cat get that strong because of this scripture and the sword? Doubt Little Mo will use the scripture but maybe a full version is different?

nice to see our MC quick on the uptake, just from seeing the sword fragment he knows the scripture connected to his Senior disciple "cat" demon. Also no matter how morally grey he is (killing is a-okay for him as long theres a reason) , he knows when to draw the lines not to becomes evil by exploiting blameless people just to satiate his ambition/greed
Seems he's not going to learn the heretic cultivation method, but still going the path of sword cultivator

"There is nothing that can break this sword. It is indestructible". This chapter was worth it just to see the cat's dumb face when Little Mo showed the two parts of the sword.

Tears welling up when the scene with the sister happened. Beautifully scripted and painted.

I'm not sure I understand what makes the heretical cultivation method so objectionable. How is "consum[ing] human lifeblood" any worse than killing? Is it that it requires one to become a glutton?

I see many people were surprised that an indestructible sword was broken...one even said the author was bs ing.... I don't think that premise is correct...for one that sword fragment looks it was cut not merely broken...also there r ways to break apart even when being indestructible ..like a disassembly...there is a difference between breaking and disassembling something

...Don't abadon your sister, look for a way to ensure her a good life.

And mc should really learn his technique, I'm not telling him to just consume random mortals but there is enough trash among cultivators and mortals that he really doesn't have to feel bad about consuming them...
