from chapter 1 to 4 :meguuusad: So lost
If you happen to have Right Dark Scans on your blocked groups list, that's why you're not seeing chapters 2 and 3.

(Seriously, we need the ability to block specific titles from specific groups for exactly this kind of reason. And some groups are so large that they have entirely separate teams working on different titles, so one can be an absolutely terrible translation, and the other could look like it was touched by the Hand of God.)

But even with that said...

Yeah, the pacing on this is really off-kilter. And then there's all the details that are being left out, like that adventurer girl who looks like a younger, nicer version of Elsa The Bowel Hunter from Re:Zero. Absolutely no details about her aside from a name and that she's an adventurer, and yet she's suddenly hanging out with the MC like she's always been there.

Main characters that give scum their achievements because is too much problem to talk back disgust me.
Kid is getting his money stolen and doesn't have the spine to put up a front, really a metaphor of japanese being weak willed.
Too few times it actually results in the achievement thief getting a high rank quest because the guild think he can do it and getting killed in it for lack of skill.
Tell me who here would do a job, some asshole comes, claims you to have cheated without proof and claims they will get the merit for it and you just let it happen?

Was wondering why chapters were missing. Think I'll just wait a bit and see how committed this new TL seems to be before dumpsterdiving thrue the trash that is a RightDark translation.

How did you think the world worked?
The higher ranked employee or the boss or the boss's boss, they all just claim the merit all the way up the ladder.
And if you try to fight it you always end up worse off.

Now MC can freely talk with the guild leader of this entire place so he could easily claim his right directly but meh, it's manga.

But there's also a certain degree of Darwinism at play here. That being: How long until this idiot gets himself into a situation that he cannot survive? And all because he's been taking so much credit for himself that he got ranked up without actually having the ability to maintain that ranking.

There's a manga I've been following - gone blank on the name of it - but at some point one of the higher beings pulls the MC aside and reveals to them the entire reason for the dungeon system to exist.

And that was simply to keep the power-hungry humans in check.

It's beautiful in its simplicity. Humans who have too much greed or ambition usually wind up dying in the dungeons, while those that are more humble and treat dungeon diving as an occupation rather than a ticket to wealth, fame, or glory... they may not become legends, but they do prosper in their small way.

Even the "Heroes" who do become legendary adventurers have their place in the system, as their exploits goad and entice others in trying to attain that same level of success. As you'd expect, very few of these people survive their own hubris.

And I fully expect to see the same here.

You are correct, in the real world that happens, and isn't even rare, but this is a fantasy world, and the asshole is not the MC boss, just a scum adventurer that is spouting bullshit thinkign a kid will not talk back to a adult, and the most annoying part is that he is right and MC was letting him do whatever and get all the credit.
I dislike MC that achieve something great and treat it like less than nothing.
"I saved your life, for you I was a great hero, for me it was less effort than scratching my ass"
When someone is thankful of being saved a MC shouldn't say something liek "that was nothing".
