Ngl this manga is so depressing in that every chapter so far takes place in other people's POV, all of whom are so enraptured by their own egos and insecurities that they're not seeing this girl going through a terrible situation - you only catch glimpses of what's going on like her trying to avoid going home at night, venting some almost suicidal thoughts on the first person willing to talk to her, and even trying to find help through her classmates, all of whom dismiss her :(

FOR REAL! it's so sad how badly this young girl just wants someone to be there for her. but no one has her best interest in mind. her older cousin high key a weirdo and is missing the very obvious cries for help just like her mom. his friend a groomer. his girlfriend too consumed by her own jealousy and feelings of inferiority to recognize that hibari is a child (an abused child at that) and not competition. this poor girl is sadly being failed by everyone. they're incapable of seeing her as more than just her body
