Aww Shame the translator is leaving, I just started this series yesterday and I just finished chapter 68 about 5 minutes ago. Hopefully someone comes along to help fill the gap he's leaving! This series really hooked me...

They (and Gimme Manga!) have done a great job on this series, I didn't spot any kind of errors with typos or anything like that, so great job all around!

Well first of all I'd like to apologize to anybody who was constantly updated with my failed attempts at posting the next chapter only to be disappointed...but it's up now and I'm planning on continuing this series for however long it takes to get a new professional translator to pick it up! I'm just a normal guy who enjoyed this series and was disappointed to see it drop like you so there are definitely hiccups to my editing skills but I'll only get better from here so hopefully what I've posted is good enough; I'll probably take my time with this but either way I can't wait to continue this story and become a better manga translator/editor!

Can someone please explain to me wtf is happening b/w chapters 70-78 b/w Kinji and Aria??

@darknesspker Well there's a couple things going on right now.

First, Reki is forcing Kinji and Aria farther apart by assigning them to different groups and not letting them be around each other. Then there's the less obvious reason which is only my personal opinion based on context clues. Aria said in chapter 68 I believe thats she's leaving Japan with her mom. This is bringing them apart because Aria's viewpoint is that she wants to spend as much time and make as many memories as she can with Kinji in their limited time together while Kinji has the complete opposite mindset. He is hurt by her leaving and feels that being with her now would only make it more painful when she does go so he doesn't find a point in becoming closer. This is what I took from the fight between them in chapter 73(?) and reading the light novel.

Why would Kinji agree to the marriage proposal in the first place even if he lost to Reki? He still could have simply said no. Not to mention when Aria and Kenji get back together eventually, what type of relationship is there going to be with Reki between the two of them considering Aria was the one who relied on Reki in the beginning.

Well Reki threatened to kill Kinji if he refused in the last page of chapter 69. (I checked to make sure I was right this time around ?) I'm not sure if she would have actually killed him but Kinji wasn't willing to take that chance. As for what their future relationship is like, good question! I assume it would take a while to mend relationships since Reki nearly killed Aria but anything is possible. Looks like we'll have to keep reading to find out!

Damn, for a manga that started pretty well and actually was really interesting for 40ish chapters I feel like it really hit a wall around chapter 70. I haven’t enjoyed it since.

Will the story ever make sense again? Will we have to wait 50+ more chapters to see Kinji use his ability at all? The side characters in this story were never very interesting, now it feels like the author is trying to shoehorn them into the story and it’s really boring, because they are boring undeveloped trope characters. Reki shirayuki whatever they just aren’t interesting characters to me... idk if this doesn’t get better in a few chapters I’m gonna drop it.
