Hey thanks for translating!

May I ask what are the 2 spinoff series names?
I assume 1 is this but I can't find anything else
https://mangadex.org/title/a4fc1b66...ru-soshite-joshi-kousei-wo-hirou-each-stories
Of course! There is the manga/LN for Each Stories and the others are all light novels. The other light novels are Another side story: Yuzuha Mishima, and Another side story: Airi Gotou (Part 1 & 2). as it stands the only one available as manga is the first one, Each Stories, however if you are interested the others are available in light novel format. I'm not entirely sure if the other light novels have been translated? I took a quick look and couldn't find anything in english but maybe they are out there :questionblob:

I don't know why people hate Gotou-san because Gotou-san is just a normal high-achieving woman that you can meet in every office.
"Normal" in the statistical sense, not the prescriptive one. Her making life-changing decisions without any rational reason was what launched the series, remember?

If it is true that the author originally pick Gotou-san ending, then that is realistic.
Well yeah, ending up with an insane emotionally manipulative coworker is many orders of magnitude more common than picking up schoolgirls from the streets, that's for sure.

I'm fine with this ending. Seems reasonable, and wide open to interpretation. Not every question needs an answer, despite how much we want one.
That emptiness after anyone in your life is no longer 'there' though... :aquadrink:
I usually don't like "open endings" but this one doesn't make me mad. I'm disappointed we didn't get something more conclusive but we've been given all the puzzle pieces we need to work it out.

I was hoping for the kouhai to win. If not her then im ok with no one tbh
Kouhai + Sayu end game is real Good Ending

:fml: not even 69 chapters.
The true tragedy of this ending

I'm crying all over again.
Why is it that I struggle to shed tears over my own hardships, but I can sob like a little girl over fictional characters?

Take care Sayu <3

Not gonna lie, I enjoyed the idea of the story where a rational, sane grown-up person would take proper care of a youngster. The fact that there are still decent human beings out there willingly helping those who have no place to go home to (more so when it comes to kids/youngsters). Still laughed my ass off reading comments where people would just ignore kids because they’re afraid of being considered a pedophile.

As for the manga, I can understand people coming here hoping for at least a romantic ending with any of the female characters, but you can’t please anyone. There are those who want MC to fall for FMC and there are those who’d rather have him hook up with any of the other female support characters. Leaving an ending like this clearly shows we’ll never know what the paths of the characters is gonna be. And I don’t hate it since we don’t know what life brings us IRL too.

I still am glad MC is a very principled and rational guy and I can relate to him on a principal level.

imo celebrating that the writer was forced to write an ending he didnt want is quite horrible...
The common thread I've seen between Romance and Battle Manga is the fanbases are 100% willing to put their own crappy agendas over the characters' and author's desires. Sometimes, authors NEED to be stopped, obviously (Domestic Girlfriend intensifies), but, everyone acting like the editor was right in stopping the author's vision here is a cad.

God forbid you meet someone when they're a teenager, and they fall in love with you and get with you later.
The funniest thing about the bitchy rich mother in this series is that those are the only people that get away with creepy age gaps: shitty rich people. If it's a hardworking office dude, who falls in love with someone he helped without taking advantage of whatsoever who is younger than him, concern trolls, who will always look the other way IRL, come out of the woodwork like termites.

Growing up, I was often watched by our neighbors who we called "Aunt and Uncle". They loved each other dearly, and he was about 2 decades older than her. Dude served in WW2 (on the good side), and the gooners on Mangadex/other forums will tell you it's a gross relationship, when the dude was the most stalwart person I've met in my life, and good to everyone. He made me a Scooby Doo toy for my birthday once, lol, super chill guy.

Consensual/loving age gap relationships are normal, read history instead of reeeeeeing if you disagree. Going after young people is gross. God forbid geezers could learn the damn difference. Biggest reason I stopped desiring to be a writer is because editors/publishers have no respect for art and pretend to care about ethics like gigantic hoes.

TLDR: I wish these gooners would take their fake ethics out of manga, because they've fucked up real life enough, OI

And the story ends right here! Yep! Definitely no more sequel or anything like that!

Huh? Spin off LN? Everyone is pissed? Botched Ending? What are you talking about? All they did is walk into the night and they lived happily ever after!

huffing copium
