Is it ok to say I hope she steps in front of a train? I actually hate this person. Get pissed at her mc, why tf you just letting her walk all over you.

I personally liked that she finally articulated why they broke up, something she didn't do when they were students and just ghosted him. Comes with age I guess.

Just that little detail I liked, and I'm glad somebody told him straight. Being firm on your morals is good, but too much and you end up unbending and uncompromising.

I have to disagree, he's fine as he is, it's the others who never agree to disagree with him, they impose their viewpoint on him, "You're taking too much care of me", "It's expected to take advantage of a JK", "You're too good for your own good", "You're an hypocrite"

They should just agree to disagree with MC and move on instead of pushing him left and right

Sort of "exactly", but I'd say (in the case of Kanda) that she is saying he's wrong in living according to his own ethics/morals, just to get him to use hers. That's just insane.
What sort of person has lived almost 30 years, only to then say "Oh, you think this is how I should think - then I will do so just based on the argument that it would be inflexible to keep to my established way of life".
I mean sure, one can argue about how to view the world, and what happens in it, or how interpersonal relations work, but that should be done in a more detailed fashion, not by just saying "switch to my view".
Gotou is sort of the other extreme, she simply won't try anything, other than to check on his status when she got worried that he'd moved on. That's crazy.
I can see how some wouldn't like Mishima's methodology, but that's personal preference. For me (and looks like, for Yoshida) she's the best of the adult women. She is forthright and open, at least. Manipulative? Can you be called that when you show your cards so openly? In a broad sense, maybe, but at least she's not hiding what she's up to. That means he could form an informed opinion at least. That's more than can be said about the 2 others.

But sure, for humans who are able to read other persons "automatically", and maybe even effortlessly, Mishima may come across as crass, loud, almost hysterical. That only means those persons are unable to see beyond their own way of functioning.

And then there's Sayu. We'll see where that goes, I guess.
(The others also represent various personalities/social strategies, so they're interesting, too, but not as central, of course.)
Interesting manga, actually ...
