@kronix what manga are you reading? Because Kandono is the one who loves Edogawa the most.
Anyway, as always it's sad when the girls get rejected but they handled it pretty well. And I suspect the rubbing sessions are going to continue even after Edogawa gets a girlfriend.

At least it's not a damn harem route. And she shouldn't stop to try. She knows she hasn't been honest and a challenger bet her to his heart. But she also accepted, where she stands. Now she has everything she needs to make Edogawa further conscience of her and wait until Iori messes up enough. You see, Hayase did something, Iori would never do (and Edogawa is to much beta to try): She confessed on her own. She actively pursued that goal, created an opportunity and followed it through. Under normal circumstances she would have a very good chance to win him over. It might take a few months, but it is there. She doesn't even need to be sneaky about it or evil. (She isn't. She proved that today.) Just a fair and square "I like him and try to win him" challenge.

Well, under normal circumstances. Sadly (in this case) this manga is anything but normal.
