(romance in quotes cuz this series isn't romantic at all) idk... it's just i've read my fair share of BL and this feels distinctly different. maybe it's because most yaoi is written by women and the author of this one is male, or it might be how most yaoi is a lot more romantic and this one has a much more action style plot. either way, it feels bizzarely heterosexual and doesn't have the spirit of yaoi

if you want some good yaoi with no rapey shit, try these: stalker x stalker (the stalking is consensual & mutual, don't worry LOL), kitayama-kun to minamiya-kun (very sweet), and chirijiri yuku no (the premise is weird but it's actually very heartfelt)

as a reader, YOU want to feel for the characters. There are numerous famous anime and manga that had it worse than this, like Redo of Healer and Goblin Slayer for example. also for those hateful commentors, yall can't act like you didn't enjoy any of those scenes too!
cuz They are far worse than this manga's "grabbing a femboy's chest."


Honestly Creator?, keep up the good work. This manga hits emotionally, no matter what. It doesn't fall into your typical boy-love social slice-of-life, nor does it lean into the overly erotic styles of Goblin Slayer, Redo of Healer, or Monster Reviewers. It balances things out and keeps readers emotionally invested. I'm 100% sure that some of those guys who kept complaining about how they disliked the red-haired dude ("sub-character bully") have been heavily satisfied when the second main character with the black hair started beating the living shit out of him, until the MC had to literally step in.


Keep up the awesome work! I expect great things from the next chapters.

I think it's great too. So many times are social situations and bullying downplayed in media. We have documented accounts that stuff was quite harsh to put it very lightly. We need a splash of dark reality every now and then to remind us that not everything was or is some accepting bubble gum environment with clear cut bad guys.
