So Shion distracted Satoko while Rika, Keiichi, Mion and Rena prepared a scenario to defeat Witchtoko. I wonder whether memory leaks played a part in why they trust Rika so much right now.

I take what happened is that Keiichi did take what Rika said about Satoko to heart and spoke to others about it, and the memory leaks allowed them to take her seriously.

He might have taken one for the team by letting his guard down while being alone with Satoko, while making sure others, or maybe just Rena, to keep an eye on Rika no matter what if he does go down. Meanwhile, Mion and Shion captured Keiichi once he L5'ed, and no one got killed. Instead they might have just subdued him and got Irie to check on him, maybe lowering his L5 if possible.

And ofc, Satoko got too cocky. She only focused too much on Rika to notice everyone else's movements. She already questioned Rena, but since the very start, her focus are always on Rika and Rika alone. She never thought about the other possibilities and thought her methods are 100% flawless.

She's either going down this Fragment, or everyone will take her down in the future Fragments the longer she tries to loop.

We've diverged from the anime by a huge margin by now, and I gotta say that this is SO MUCH BETTER. Satoko having a ".exe is not responding" moment was excellent, her inner monologue trying to understand the situation shows that she's not some perfect mastermind that has zero faults, and her overall character is so much more fleshed out. Now I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

We still gotta worry about the Looper sword. Also, when Satoko threw it into the lake, it had a piece missing from that panel. So we might still get a DBZ witch battle, just with everyone involved now.

I'm glad that Akase Tomato is putting something we all wanted in the answer arc that Sotsu failed to provide. In the OP of Sotsu, we see that the other club members had a hostile appearance towards Satoko for messing with them so we are probably finally going to see that.
