If this was chapter 1 through 8: There's something wrong with this girl teehee~
This chapter, as it is now: There's something... concerning about this girl...
(she was so excited for it that just the idea was enough to satisfy her vs she's never even been allowed to press the buttons with her other "friends" before so that alone is enough for her...)
Even with the cute stuff, there is an undercurrent of dread and deep sadness in this story. Which probably makes it a better story overall, but I do get apprehensive clicking on each new chapter expecting it to shift back into abuse mode lol.

This is what's so interesting to me. On a surface level Hiiragi's situation seems that much worse, with the extreme abuse she suffered. But while Hiiragi's abuse is something past-present (PTSD lingers with her and the aftereffects still affect her to this day, but the active events of it are something in her past), Tomikawa's abuse is present-future (actively occurring in her daily life and something which she doesn't see an escape from in her immediate future). Hiiragi can let her mask slip because the "true" Hiiragi is the sobbing wet cat we know and love. But Tomikawa can't let her mask slip even for a moment, even in private moments.
